榴蓮是馬來西亞的國寶級水果，享有果王的美譽，一年兩次的榴蓮季節，不僅讓大馬為之瘋狂，
如今粉絲更遍布全球，尤其近年來每逢榴蓮旺季，就會出現大量為了嘗鮮而來的“榴蓮控”，
不少旅行社更精心策劃到本地果園吃榴蓮的短遊配套。
現在即使身在海外，也可以吃到大馬榴蓮，比如在歐美、澳洲或新西蘭、中港台及東南亞等地，
都可看到大馬榴蓮的踪跡，而大馬榴蓮多以冷凍榴蓮、冷凍果肉或榴蓮加工食品等形式進駐
海外市場。
As the national fruit of Malaysia, durian is often called the 'King of Fruits'. Malaysians go crazy over it, especially during the biannual durian season. However, the past few years have seen the fruit rise in popularity around the globe. These days, many travel agencies even plan tour packages fot durian fans eager to taste the sweet and savoury flesh at local orchards.
One can eat Malaysian durians even when overseas. The influence of durian has spread to places like Europe, America, Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. Most of these take the form of frozen whole durians, durian flesh and durian-based products.

大馬榴蓮中國飄香 前景一片明亮
THE MALAYSIAN DURIAN'S BRIGHT FUTURE IN CHINA
自2011年馬來西亞與中國簽署合作備忘錄，同意輸出冷凍榴蓮到中國後，榴蓮的需求量日益提升，價格也不斷攀高。根據農業部的數據，出國到中國的榴蓮數量每年至少達到2000公噸。
2017年11月，2000多個新鮮帶殼貓山王首次飄洋過海，亮相於“2017年馬來西亞（南寧）榴蓮節”，不僅成功吸引了16.5萬人次到場，更促成高達28億令吉的商業對接交易。
2019年6月，首批冷凍原位帶殼貓山王榴蓮終於成功出口到中國了。8月27日，馬來西亞榴蓮更是首次以包機形式被運送至中國河南省鄭州市，價值1.182億令吉。隨著市場需求大增，特別是貓山王和黑刺等名種榴蓮的價格將不斷創新高。
中國消費者對貓山王情有獨鍾，不惜高價收購，馬來西亞農業部預測貓山王價格將飚升至每公斤300令吉！貓山王等名種榴蓮目前僅在中國一線城市出售，在14億人口中，大約只有1%的中國人吃到貓山王，但隨著網購平台如天貓提供網購大馬榴蓮的便利，中國各大城小鎮的人們都有機會吃到大馬榴蓮，這導致大馬榴蓮需求爆升，榴蓮身價也隨之暴漲！數據顯示，2019年天貓首發的馬來西亞整個帶殼榴蓮每公斤售價約為168人民幣，也就是接近馬幣100令吉！

Durian Garden was established on 1 September, 2016 as an integrated, systematic and digitalised commercial durian plantation in Malaysia that is committed to building a green, healthy, efficient and sustainable agricultural production ecosystem.
Our plantation is located in Raub, Pahang and consists of 428 acres of fertile land, Raub has many advantages when it comes to durian plantations, such as weather, topography, soil quality and rainfall. 榴蓮苑目前擁有上百位農業種植專員及農業專家，並由吳紹武博士領航。團隊在熱帶農業種植管理、基因研究、生態有機等方面皆具備豐富的研究和至少10年以上的經驗。

榴蓮苑種植的12,000棵榴蓮樹，當中80%為貓山王，另外的20%則有黑刺、D24及竹腳等名種榴蓮組成。榴蓮樹第6年起將邁入成熟期，開始結果，第11年以後則是黃金期，也是榴蓮大豐收的黃金時刻，而每棵榴蓮樹壽命預計為100至300年，因此榴蓮種植除了是一個可持續的種植計劃外，更是一個回酬可觀的長線投資計劃！
Durian Garden currently has a team of around 100 agricultural planters and experts led by Dr. Gene Goh. The team conducts extensive research and has at least 10 years of experience in tropical agricultural plantation management, genetic research and ecological organics.
Dr. Gene Goh believes that through ethical agricultural practices, modern technology and scientific research, it is possible to produce high-quality varieties of durian. In addition, Durian Garden also manages the plantation using environmental protection technology to avoid pollution and maintain ecological balance.
Of the 12,000 durian trees planted in Durian Garden, 80% are Musang Kings, while the other 20% are made up of Black Thorns, D24s and Tekkas. The durian trees will enter maturity in their 11th year, when they produce the most fruit. The lifespan of each durian tree is expected to be anywhere between 100 to 300 years, so beyond being a sustainable plantation, Durian Garden is also a long-term plan with considerable return on investment.
